The Northwest College Photographic Communications program will host its annual photo expo on Friday, Sept. 13, featuring Steph Parker, the Midwest region technical rep for SIGMA America camera lenses.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Dietrich Photo Studio inside the Fagerberg Building on the NWC campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department and The Nature Conservancy-Wyoming are partnering to host a Living with Beavers workshop in Cody Sept. 16.
The workshop’s aim is to connect landowners and land managers in the Big Horn Basin with information and resources to mitigate or reduce conflicts with beavers.
Presenters with Game and Fish and the National Wildlife Federation-MT will provide expertise and technical tools for mitigating conflicts with beavers on private property and discuss beaver management and translocation in Wyoming.

CHEYENNE (WNE) — With Wyoming boasting the fourth fastest growing outdoor economy in the nation, 2023 visitation numbers at State Parks and Historic Sites reflect that upward trend.
Last year’s total visitation of nearly 5.3 million was the second largest in history and reflected an increase of approximately 54,000 over 2022.
Those numbers are only surpassed by visitation registered during 2021, when outdoor recreation exploded due to the COVID19 pandemic.
