Another fine woman was crowned on Saturday as Lilac Queen. The 2026 Queen is Neda Herman. The Basin Area Chamber started recognizing women as queens in 2003.
The June fair board meeting has held on June 3. Board members Rebecca Bates, Tracy Haley, Eron Lampman, Katrina Zeller, Tim Allen, Dan VanderPloeg and Jesse Dewey were at the meeting.
At the May 28 Basin Town Council meeting the council voted to move their June 11 meeting to Monday June 15 at 7 p.m. Some of the council were not available on June 11.
