‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ theme of Burlington homecoming
Burlington will celebrate its Homecoming Sept. 30 through Oct. 5 and the theme is “Lights, Camera, Action!”
Monday: “Dress as a Barbie Character” with hallway decorating that night from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday: “Students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students.” The Buff Puff game will be held during seventh period and game night at 7 p.m.
Wednesday: “Tacky Tourist dress-up day.” The Powder Puff game will be held during seventh period.
Thursday: “Class Color dress-up,” (Seniors-blue, Juniors-pink, Sophomores-white, Freshmen-green, Middle School- purple). The pep rally is sponsored by the junior class and will be held during seventh period.
Friday: “Wear School Colors!” Students will decorate floats during first and second period and the parade beings at 10:30 a.m. and is open to all community members. Football games start with middle school kickoff at noon and high school kickoff at 2. JV volleyball will be at 5 and varsity at 7 p.m., with all teams facing Meeteetse.
Saturday: The middle school volleyball team will play Greybull at home at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. The Homecoming dance will be at the fire hall from 8 to 10 p.m. with the theme “Mamma Mia.’
