Alnetta Jolene Presley Williams, age 75, passed away June 17, 2022. She was born on June 17, 1947, in Laramie, Wyo., to Charles Coleman Presley and Flossie Kathyrin Williams-Presley. In June 1967, she married Eldie Wade Williams.
Eldie and Alnetta moved to Washington state only to return to Greybull in 2006. In Washington state, she worked as a lunch lady for many years. Her favorite things to do were singing and reading. Alnetta also loved kids and music. She loved to sing to her kids on long trips. Camping was another one of her favorite things to do.
Purple was her favorite color and everything had to have some purple in it. She would always say how God had painted the sky.
Alnetta is survived by her husband and best friend, Eldie Wade Williams and her children – son, Edlie Wade Williams Jr. of Belfair, Wash.; two daughters, Alnetta Colleen Williams-Oryall of Basin, Wyo., and Mildred Irene Schultz of Prospect, Ore., and Jack Austin Charles Williams.
She is also survived by one brother, Edwin Presley of Silverdale, Wash., and four sisters – Bonnie McDonald of Greybull, Wyo., Bessie Wallace of Arkansas, Lola Ingersol of Greybull, Wyo., and Flossie Presley of Basin, Wyo. She has many grandkids and great grandkids — too many to list. She loved them all dearly.
A memorial for this special woman will be June 24, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Atwood Family Chapel in Basin, Wyo. A viewing will be held the day prior, June 23, 2022 from 4-6pm also at the Atwood Family Chapel in Basin, Wyo.
