Baby C is with the Lord
By now, most of you learned about a 2-month-old baby who died in Manderson. His life was short and he lived in horrific conditions. Heartbreaking and unimaginable. The only comfort we can take is that he is with the Lord now. He has no memory of what his life was. He is loved more than any of us can imagine. He is healthy. He is joyful and happy.
So many of you have reached out to provide items for his big brother who is safe and in a home. The response has been amazing. The need has been met.
To honor the life of Chaze, here are a few ideas. Come to the candlelight vigil July 23, 9:30 p.m. at the courthouse in Basin. Hold your own candlelight vigil in your community at the same time. Display a blue pinwheel at your business or home. Blue is the color of child abuse awareness. Wear blue that day.
Donate children’s items to organizations in his name. There are community closets in Greybull (drop off at DFS office), in Cody at Outlook Church and in Powell at New Life Church, or any organization you know helps children in need.
You may also donate to CARES. They help victims of abuse and violence.
While we mourn his short life, we can help remember him by helping others. #BabyChaze.
