Basin’s Lilac Days is this weekend
Thank you, God, for this good life and forgive us if we do not love it enough. — Garrison Keillor
Lilac Days is this week! Kickoff is Friday at the Basin pool from 1- 7 p.m., features activities and a food truck. Saturday is full of fun. If you are a chamber member you may have an info/vendor table on Saturday in Washington Park at no charge. Set up starts at 8:30 a.m. Bring your own table and chairs. The vendor section will be in the grassy areas east of the pavilion. Look for the signs.
Other vendors are welcome. The cost is $10. You must bring your own table and chairs. You may sign up the day of or call 272-6844.
Due to a mix-up on dates (my fault) Wing It Food Truck will not be at Lilac Days this year. We are excited to have Mama Z’s Pizza Truck selling pizza by the slice which will pair perfectly with fresh lemonade and fresh donuts from Haley’s Concessions.
Like so many events in our communities, Lilac Days and Entertainment in the Park could not happen without the sponsors. Thank you, REA, TCT, Security State Bank, Queen Bee Gardens and Three Rivers Health for your Lilac Day sponsorship.
Additional sponsors are Basin First Baptist, Gottsche, CRH-Basin Clinic, The SHACK, Club Dauntless, Basin Rec, Friends of the Basin Library, Basin PD, American Legion Post #29 and Valley Hardware,
Thank you, Tom Newman State Farm, for sponsoring Entertainment in the Park. It starts June 19, 7 p.m. in Washington Park.
