Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. — Sally Koch

Chamber member lunch this Thursday (Oct. 8) at noon. Lunch is Copper Corner Cafe chili and Manna from Basin peach cinnamon rolls. Please come to network with others. It is a good opportunity to learn what is going on in other businesses and find ways to collaborate

This week the Wyoming Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Trust Fund (ORTTF) board met in Cody. ORTTF is a long-term investment established by the State of Wyoming to support the planning, development, improvement, and maintenance of outdoor recreation infrastructure across the state. The fund is designed to help communities enhance public access to outdoor recreation opportunities while strengthening Wyoming’s outdoor recreation and tourism economy.

The Fall Hospitality & Tourism Summit is in two weeks in Sheridan. It is full! It brings together business owners, industry leaders, educators, and policymakers to discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities in the state’s tourism economy. We are happy to be there representing our Big Horn County communities. Tourism is a growing part of economic development in our county.
