Basin Food Pantry ham drive set for Dec. 18

The Basin Area Food Pantry is hosting a ham drive on Dec. 18. 

Hams will be collected for Christmas baskets from 5-6:30 p.m. Bring to the back door of the Basin chamber. Half-hams are preferred. 

Organizers are hoping that churches in the area will challenge their congregations to take part. 

The pantry is also hosting an Adopt a Christmas basket. Stop by Security State Bank to pick up a bag. In the bag is a list of items to feed a family of four. 

The baskets are designed to go to people/families that are experiencing food insecurity. 

They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on Dec. 21, 9-10 a.m., at the back door of the chamber.
