The target date for the ribbon cutting of the Basin mural is June 5. The mural location is the wall at the Basin Commons (corner of Fourth and C Streets). The Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund funded a portion of the project. Additional donations are currently being sought. Look for a story in the Basin Republican Rustler soon about how you can be a part of this exciting project.

• BHC GOP: Due to Sheriff Blackburn’s resignation, Chairwoman Sharon Hall is taking resumes and letters of intent for this position until 5 pm, Monday, March 30. Send to: bhcwygop@gmail.com. Interviews will be held by the BHC GOP Central Committee on Tuesday, March 31, 6 p.m. at the BHC Weed & Pest Building, 4782 US Hiway 310, Greybull. (past the former BH Co-Op, at the ‘Y” turnoff North to Lovell). Please see letter to the editor and ad in last week’s paper. The next regular meeting will be Monday, April 13, 7 p.m. at the BHC Weed & Pest building. Discussion will include state convention (April 23, 24, 25 in Douglas), upcoming fundraisers, fair booth and parade entry, primary election (Aug. 18). All registered Republicans welcome.
• Basin City Arts Center: Saturday, March 28. Once Upon a Time Story Teller Shelly King Basin City Arts Center 6:30-7:30 p.m. Stories Aren’t Just for Kids. The Many Faces of Story: Folk Tales - Personal Stories - Original Stories - Tall Tales. Donations Appreciated. All Proceeds from this Event will go to the Basin City Arts Center. Follow us on FB. • Basin Area Food Pantry: Food Bank/Salvation Army food giveaway. From 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 28. Back door of the Chamber office in Basin.
• Basin Heritage Commons: Be a part of the legacy with a brick or paver. The drive is on to have all the bricks/pavers sold in time for Lilac Days the first weekend in June. Call Danae at 307-275-0419
