BHS trap team fifth in conference
Burlington’s trap team remains in the fifth spot in its conference with a combined score of 253.50, behind Kemmerer with 301 points, Goshen County with 420 points, Wheatland with 551 points and Thunder Basin with 584.50 points.
The Huskies top five shooters and their scores: Brikton Wardell, 43/50; Kole Walker, 40/50; Parker Cook, 39/50; Isaac Davidson, 37/50, and Trigdon Aagard, 34/50.
In the overall conference standings, Wardell tied for eighth with a season average of 22, Walker tied for 16th with 20.75 and Cook tied for 25th with 19.25 points. Ava Wennberg earned 13th place on the girls’ side with a season average of 12.
“Week two was a challenging week for the team,” said Coach Nate Kreider. “The weather was very windy and scores dropped a little from last week but the scores were solid given the weather conditions.
“Isaac Davidson posted his top score in week two for the season so far and Parker Cook broke into the top 25 in the conference for the first time this season.”
