Basin Town Wide Yard Sale is this Saturday 

“Your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers, or you can grow weeds.” 

The town-wide yard sale is this Saturday. Maps will be available at 8 a.m. at the chamber office at 407 West C Street in Basin. Yard sale shoppers...please, please, please don’t go to the yard sales before 8 a.m. 

Chamber member lunch today (Thursday, June 13) at noon. Lunch will be spaghetti from the Copper Corner Cafe. 

Entertainment in the Park starts June 20 at 7 p.m. The ever-popular Bret Savage will be playing. The event is sponsored by Tom Newman State Farm. 

Chamber member news: 

• United Methodist Church: Father’s Day Concert, “Love is in the Music,” with Dr. Michael Yenny on the piano. June 15, 7 p.m. The recital will feature songs such as “Love Theme from St. Elmo’s Fire,” “Never Gonna Let You Go” by Barry Mann and “Starry Night” by Michael Allen Harrison. The recital is at the United Methodist Church in Basin. The event is non-denominational and all are welcome. There is no charge, but freewill offerings are appreciated.

• Big Horn Basin Dinosaur & Geoscience Museum: Lecture with Dr. Andrew A Farke, Director, Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology, June 13, 6 p.m. at the Greybull Museum. Topic: “Sharks, salamanders, tyrannosaurs and turtles.”

• Basin City Arts Center: Father’s Day Brunch, 8 - 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, $6 per person, $25 per family. Fathers eat free. 

• Basin REC: Open swimming 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. 

• Greybull Rec District: Hip Hop Hooray, June 14,
10 a.m. - noon. Bounce houses, obstacle course and slide. $2 per person. 

• Basin/Greybull Farmers Market: Saturdays in Greybull, 9 a.m. - noon on North Sixth Street.
