Chamber luncheon today at noon

Chamber member meeting this Thursday at noon. Copper Corner chili and cornbread is on the menu. Please RSVP so we may plan accordingly. Not only do we have fun, we connect and help each other’s businesses with ideas and cross promotion. 

Thank you to all who dropped off stickers for the Washington D.C. trip. Our U.S. Senators and Representative will be happy to get them (along with Queen Bee honey sticks and bars)

• Basin First Baptist: Oct. 8 and 22, Motherhood Meetings at 9 a.m. Family fun nights on Wednesdays starting at 6:30 p.m., they feed your kids.

• Basin City Arts Center: Saturday, Oct. 11: Heaven Bound in Concert at Basin City Arts Center, local country gospel music at 7 p.m. Donations appreciated. Thursday, Oct. 30: BCAC Music Jam at 6:30 p.m., admission $5. For more info, call Deanne at 605-222-1577. • Town of Basin council meeting Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.

• St. Andrews: Neat Repeat Thrift Shop, Saturday, Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Recycle your clean glass at St. Andrews anytime. Look for the recycling container between the storage sheds. No lids please.

Basin/Greybull Farmer’s Market: Last week Saturday 10 a.m. to  noon in Greybull.

• Friends of Medicine Lodge: Halloween event, Oct. 25. Pumpkin carving, trunk or treat, games from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Food truck starting at 5:30 p.m. Haunted hike at 7 p.m. Looking for volunteers to host a trunk or be an actor for the hike. Contact the park at 307-469-2234 or heather.jolley@wyo.gov

• Wyoming Retirement Center:  Halloween Carnival, Oct. 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Food, games and fun.  Entry fee for unlimited games is $5. Meal deals available too.

• Manderson PD: Halloween party, Oct. 31, 4-6 p.m. at Manderson town hall. Crafts and games for all ages. 

• Basin Rec District: Trunk or Treat, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m. at town hall parking lot. The theme is “monster mash.”

• Town of Burlington:  Trunk or Treat, Oct. 31 at Centennial Park. Starts at 5 p.m. 

• Lovell Area Chamber:  Dan Miller’s Cowboy Music Review, Oct. 11. Dinner at 6 p.m. Show at 7 p.m. Fundraiser for Lovell-Kane Area Museum. Tickets $30. The chamber is accepting coats for the winter coat drive. New or gently used only.
