Chamber member lunch meeting today at noon

A man asked a gardener why his plants grew so beautifully. The gardener said: “I don’t force them to grow. I remove what stops them.”

There is a chamber membership meeting today (Thursday, Feb. 13). Lunch will be provided by a person who shall not be named. Please bring what is happening in your business to share during the roundtable.

Time to start planning Lilac Days, which is the first weekend in June. Looking for fresh ideas and younger minds. Please let us know if you would like to be involved.

We are still collecting pop tabs to donate to Shriners Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, etc. We are also collecting items to go in SWAG bags to our five elected officials (governor, superintendent, treasurer, auditor and secretary of state). I’ll be heading down at the end of this month. Pens, stickers, fun stuff. Thank you to Big Horn REA, Paintrock Processing, Big Horn County Weed & Pest, Big Horn County Citizens for Economic Development, Big Horn County Fair and Wyoming State Parks for already for supplying items. If you are a business that has an item, might I suggest you do what Wyoming Buffalo Company does? Lisa attaches a card with the website and a discount code good for a limited amount of time. It drives people to her website to shop. (She is so smart.)

Thank you, Larsen’s Bicycles, Wyoming Modern Tech, Wyoming Wares, Big Horn REA, Basin First Baptist, University of Wyoming Extension-Big Horn County for your chamber membership renewals.
