A great opportunity for us in Big Horn County: Please RSVP to Join Wyoming Pathways, the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation, and the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy for a workshop on the Great American Rail-Trail. As the nation’s first cross-country multi-use trail, the “Great American” spans 3,700 miles between Washington, D.C., and Washington State. This iconic infrastructure connects thousands of miles of trails, serving millions of residents and visitors alike.

The workshop goals are to:

Share the vision for this nationwide connection.

Explore successes in neighboring communities.

Identify local challenges and brainstorm community needs.

Collaborate on local solutions and possibilities.

The event is set for April 14 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Big Horn Weed and Pest, 4782 US Highway 310. RSVP to Jacque Lavelle at jlavelle@railstotrails.org or 406-403-7969.
