Churches announce Holy Week Services

Churches in south Big Horn County have announced the following special services for Holy Week, which begins April 13 with Palm Sunday.

St. Andrews/Grace Lutheran — April 17: Agape Supper/Service, 5:30 p.m.  April 18: Stations of the Cross, 5:30 p.m.  April 20: Easter service, 11 a.m.

Grace Southern Baptist Church – Easter Sunday: Scripture reading/prayer at 8:30 a.m., followed by a carry in breakfast. 9:45 a.m. start of Church service celebrating Jesus Resurrection.

Grace Lutheran Church, Greybull — Good Friday service at 4 p.m.; Easter Sunday breakfast at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m.

Zion Lutheran Church, Emblem — Maundy Thursday service at 6 p.m.; Good Friday service at 6 p.m.; Easter Sunday service at 9 a.m.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church — Holy Thursday: Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 7 p.m.; Good Friday: Veneration of the Cross, noon; Stations of the Cross, 3 p.m.; Spanish Stations of the Cross, 4 p.m.; Holy Saturday: Easter Vigil 8:30 p.m.; Easter Sunday: Mass, 8:30 a.m. (Spanish).

First Presbyterian Church and Shell Community Church — Maundy Thursday service in Greybull, starting at 5:30 p.m. with potluck dinner, followed by open communion and a Tenebrae service in the sanctuary; Easter Sunday service in Shell, 8:30 a.m. followed by coffee hour.

Basin First Baptist Church — Good Friday: 7 p.m. service; Easter Sunday: Sunrise service at 7 a.m., followed by carry-in breakfast; Easter service at 10:30 a.m.

Greybull Alliance Church — Good Friday prayer service, 6:30 p.m.; Partnering with Basin First Baptist Church on 7 a.m. Easter Sunday sunrise service; regular Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. 

United Methodist Church-Basin — Easter Sunday service at 11 a.m.

United Methodist Church-Hyattville — Easter Sunday service at 9 a.m.

Cloud Peak Church —Easter Sunday: Breakfast at 8:15 a.m., followed by service at 9:30 a.m. 

Burlington Community Church — Regular Easter service, 10 a.m.; Regular Easter service, 11 a.m.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints — Sacrament Meetings, 9 and 10:30 a.m. 

Greybull First Baptist: Good Friday service, 7 p.m.
