Collections underway for Basin Area Food Bank

The Basin Area Food Bank has started collecting for the annual Christmas basket giveaway.
Previous collections for this basket were used for the Thanksgiving baskets due to a huge turnout for over 100 baskets. The food bank is basically starting over in food collection for Christmas.
Non-perishable items may be donated at Basin Market or the Basin Area Chamber. Monetary donations may be mailed to P.O. Box 284, Basin, WY, 82410.
Arrangements may be made to donate perishable items such as hams, fresh vegetables, fruit, etc.  Please contact Lori Thon at 307-250-1678 or Charlene Anderson at 307-272-4340.
The baskets will be distributed 9 -10 a.m. Dec. 16, at the back door of the Basin Area Chamber.
This program is designed to help those experiencing food insecurity (household level economic and social condition of limited or uncertain access to adequate food).
