The Big Horn County Fair Board is hosting the annual Winter Festival Saturday, Feb. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the multipurpose building.  There will be games, cake walks, a photo booth and a petting zoo. Proceeds will go toward events for the 2026 county fair.

The event is sponsored by Big Horn REA, Pepsi/Admiral, Little Acres Meat Processing, Kay & Dave Neves. Additional sponsors are the Big Horn County Newspapers (Basin Republican Rustler, Greybull Standard, Lovell Chronicle) and the Basin Area Chamber. Various 4-H groups from the county are doing the booths and games.

Chili and drinks will be available for purchase. The chili ingredients were donated by Spear D Ranch, Lynns, Red Apple and Basin’s Market. Along with chili there will be cookies and Pepsi products. Pepsi/Admiral Beverage donated the water and soda.

Past festivals have been a fun family event and this one promises to be the same. Fair board members are excited to continue the tradition and hope for a good turnout.  The cost is $25 per family or $10 per person.

If you are interested in helping or sponsoring, please call the fair office at 307-568-2968.
