Daniel Wesley Dow passed away March 30, 2024, at Pathways Hospice Care Center, Fort Collins, Colo., with his loving wife Tammy by his side.
Dan was born Aug. 31, 1960, in Basin, Wyo., to Norma Talbott Dow and David George Dow.
He attended school in Basin until his stepfather, Gerald Holm, was transferred to Miles City, Mont.
Dan attended Eastern Wyoming College, Torrington Wyo., learning refrigeration which led to a rewarding career in construction and real estate management. Dan was respected by all who knew and worked with him.
In 1994 Dan met the love of his life, Tammy Thompson. The two enjoyed home projects, their dogs, and for over 30 years, made a wonderful life together.
Guitar playing and restoration, riding motorcycles, golfing and playing darts were some of Dan’s favorite pastimes. Even though he always lived far from the oceans, he had a keen interest in lighthouses and their operation.
Dan is survived by his wife Tammy Thompson, Fort Collins, Colo.; Aunt Irene Talbott, New York, N.Y.; two older sisters Claudia Wade (Tim) and Patra Lindenthal (Rick), Cody; and several nieces, nephews and many Thompson in-laws.
No formal service is planned.
