Dean William Wolvington

Dean William Wolvington died Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, in Salt Lake City, Utah.He was born on March 1, 1944, in Hot Springs, S. D., to Francis and Elizabeth Wolvington. He was raised in Belle Fourche. Dean moved to Lovell in 1968. He met his sweetheart at the Rose Bowl Cafe and they were married in August of 1969. They were sealed for eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple in June 1977.[caption id="attachment_10662" align="alignright" width="208"]
Dean William Wolvington[/caption]Dean was an active member of the community serving on many boards including school, recreation, landfill and golf. He was also an active member of the LDS Church, where he fulfilled many callings. He enjoyed many conversations, laughs, ping-pong and foosball at the “Men’s Room,” his office.Dean is survived by his wife, Judy, of nearly 47 years; his sons Brad (Renae) and Dan (Melissa); his daughter Kimberly (Kevin) Simon; his grandchildren who he adored, Lauren, Brandon, Kyle, Cole, Peyton, Madison and Olivia; one sister, Rita (Sam) Biederstedt; one brother-in-law, Jim (Sharon) Henrich; a sister-in-law, Janice (Steve) Spears, and numerous nieces and nephews.We will miss you so much, until we see each other again.Viewing will take place on Friday, Dec. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Haskell Funeral Home and on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the LDS West Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m. at the Lovell LDS Stake Center. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Fireman’s Christmas Basket Program for needy families.
