Edwin Presley

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edwin Eugene Presley, aged 73, of Bremerton, Wash., on Nov. 15, 2024.

Edwin was born on Dec. 24, 1950, in Laramie, Wyo., to Charles Coleman Presley and Flossie Kathyrine (Williams) Presley. He was a beloved son, husband, brother, father, papa, a dedicated crane operator and a cherished friend to many. Throughout his life, Edwin was known for his devotion to his family and his wife Beverly Presley.

He was predeceased by his wife Beverly Worm Presley; parents Charles and Flossie Presley; daughter Rachel Presley who passed just two days before, and siblings Wanda Mae, Charles Wade, Robert Calvin, Dorthy Pearl, Alvin Austin, Fred Virgil, Sarah Suzanna, Delbert Lynell and Alnetta Jolene. 

He is survived by his son Michael Presley and wife Michele of Tipton, Iowa, and grandchildren Trevor Burkhart, Cassidy Bohannan and her husband Dazavian Bohannan, and Caitlyn (Cade) Burkhart, Dawson and Dillon Presley of Bremerton, Wash., great grandchildren Shelby and Sophia, and siblings Bessie of Wallace, Mich., Bonnie Delores and Lela Wanetta Ingersoll of Greybull, Wyo., and Flossie Marie (Sas) Presley of Basin, Wyo.

Edwin grew up in Wyoming. He served in the United States Army as a combat engineer from 1970 to 1972.He earned a National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter M16 and M14. He married the love of his life Beverly Worm in Basin, Wyo., in 1972 and they had their two children, Michael and Rachel. He moved his family to Washington in the 1980s. He worked for the majority of his lifetime and retired from Bangor Base, Wash., as a crane operator. He valued time with his family and enjoyed playing hidden object games. He also had a passion for watching Western movies and NCIS. 

The family would like to thank Kaiser Hospice, Melissa Presley, and Cheyenne Brown for their compassionate care and support.

Edwin will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but their memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
