Entertainment in the Park starts Thursday
One of our greatest powers is simply being kind to each other. (Thanks for the reminder, Carla)
Entertainment in the Park starts this week in Basin. It is brought to you by Tom Newman State Farm. Bret Savage will play at Washington Park, 7 p.m. on June 20. Bring your lawn chairs. The following week is Jay Powelson. The event is free thanks to Tom Newman.
Over 70 townwide yard sale maps went out on Saturday. We ran out before 10 a.m. There were only eight homes on the map but there were a lot more yard sales than that. Hopefully, next year everyone having a yard sale will get on the map. The $5 we charge pays for the advertising to get people to town. When fewer homes sign up, we have less advertising.
I’m headed to Cheyenne this week to attend a State Land & Investment Board grant meeting. Keep your fingers crossed we get the grant for a new fire hall in Basin.
