Entertainment in Washington Park tonight at 7 p.m.

Entertainment in the Park starts today (Thursday June 19).  Bring your chairs and bug spray to enjoy an hour of local talent music. Thank you sponsors Tom Newman-State Farm and Basin City Arts Center.  

The townwide yard sale is this Saturday. Please register your home by Friday at 1 p.m. There are blank forms in the foyer of the chamber. It costs $5 to add your address. This helps pay for the advertising. The maps may be picked up at 7:55 a.m. Saturday. Please, please, please do not go to the yard sales before 8 a.m. 

We had a wonderful chamber lunch last week. Thank you, Nansun Ottersbach, for an amazing lunch. Fifteen-plus members came and good contacts were made for networking. A couple of our members will be working together on future projects.

• St. Andrews Neat Repeat Store:  Open June 21, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. for the town-wide yard sale. Free clothes. Hot dogs and chips $1. 

• Basin City Arts Center:  Jeff Troxel Trio at the Basin City Arts Center, June 21, 7 p.m. 

• Heart Mountain Trading Post: Why support local small businesses? I’m glad you asked ... our small business supports local, we support local and small business artisans, our money stays local, our business supports local fundraisers, our business provides scholarships to foster the Western Way of Life, our business enriches our community.
