Fair week is a wonderful Americana tradition

It’s Big Horn County Fair week!  A wonderful Americana tradition. Tons of events for everyone from ranch polo to goat roping to quilt show to music. You can find a schedule on the fair web page, fair Facebook page and/or the July 24 Basin Republican Rustler. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of it.

Chamber member news: 

 • Big Horn County Library:  Beat the heat and come to the Basin library for a sweet treat. July 30, noon to 4 p.m. Starting Aug. 1, the library has new hours: Monday-Friday, 10-5 p.m. EXCEPT Tuesday they will close at 3 p.m. The final Saturday event will be the Raptor program on Aug. 9 

 • Friends of the Basin Library: Meeting, Aug. 6, 10 a.m. at the library. 

• Basin First Baptist:  Worship service at the fairgrounds, Aug. 3. 10 a.m. 

• Big Horn County 4-H:  Junior Livestock Sale, Aug. 2, 1 p.m. Buyers lunch starts at noon. 

• Asp Community Center (Greybull Rec): Closed July 28-Aug. 15 for yearly maintenance and floor refinishing. The office will be closed July 29-Aug. 4. 

• Greybull Chamber:  Wine Walk, Aug. 16, 3-6 p.m. on main street in Greybull   

• Basin Rec: September Sip & Craft Vendor Show, Sept. 6, 2 - 8 p.m. Vendors may contact the rec district at basinrecreation8@gmail.com
