Four champs set the pace for G-R at Shoshoni tournament

Greybull-Riverside saw four of its wrestlers win their weight classes Friday at a middle school tournament in Shoshoni.

Delta Craft, at 115 pounds, and Kaislee Nyberg, at 130, won titles in the girls division while Haakon Craft, at 126B, and Sawyer Triplett, at 138, reigned on the boys side.

Other placers in the girls division for G-R included Jordan Potter, second at 180 pounds; Tatum Triplett, second at 77; Ryan Whisenant, third at 105; and Emaline Smith, fourth at 120.

Trenton Lowe (84B), Quaide Houchin (126A), Jayden Waddell (126B) and Irving Rodriguez (120) contributed third-place finishes while Ashtun Winkler (77B) and Cormick Thacker (84B) placed fourth to round out the scoring for the G-R boys.

G-R was joined in the field by teams from Arapahoe, Dubois, Fort Washakie, Glenrock, Rocky Mountain, Shoshoni, Thermopolis and Wyoming Indian.

The team is off during Thanksgiving break and will ramp up early next week for its season-ending conference tournament which is Saturday, Dec. 6 in Thermopolis.
