“The soldier’s heart, the soldier’s spirit, the soldier’s soul, are everything.” — George Marshall

Veterans Day is next Monday. There are green light bulbs in the foyer of the chamber for those who want one to show support of our veterans. God bless our veterans and their families.

Thank you Big Horn Sweets and More for your donation of freeze dried candy for our troops’ Christmas boxes. Thank you, Basin Republican Rustler, Greybull Standard and Lovell Chronicle, for the neck gaiters. Thank you, Security State Bank, for the pens. We are still looking for honey sticks, lip balm, meat sticks, jerky, personal hygiene products, socks, trail mix, small games/activity books and cookies (ones that will keep and not melt), cards/letters. Many of these items may be purchased at chamber members’ businesses. We understand that we are all asked to donate A LOT. If you can, wonderful. If you can’t, totally understand. The items will be mailed on Nov. 15. It would be great we could have them by Nov. 13. Jars for monetary donations are at Valley Hardware, Basin Pharmacy and Basin’s Market.
