Huskies’ sharp shooters finish Week 2

The Huskies wrapped up Week 2 shooting with another strong showing. “This week was another great week, the weather cooperated and the scores showed,” said Coach Nate Kreider. 

Kole Walker and Chase Allen tied for 1st with an impressive score of 45/50. Parker Cook in 2nd in with 42/50, tied for 3rd is Casey Nelson and Spence Winterholler with 40/50. “Kole and Chase are making a run for the top shot award for our team honors. Parker has been consistent with staying in the top 2 spots thus far. Casey put up his personal best score this week. Spence in his first-year shooting and only a 6th grader and is keeping pace with the veteran shooters on the team.” 

Conference leaderboards focus on a season average and Allen moved up into 5th place, tied with a 22.50 average score. Walker is tied for 16th place with 21.50. Cook in 18th with 21.25 and Winterholler in 22nd with 20.00. Ava Wennberg is in 10th place on the female side with a 15.75 season average. 

Burlington moved into 4th place with a score of 343.50, edging out Powell and Dubois and following Goshen County in 1st, Kemmerer in 2nd and Wheatland in 3rd.
