The Burlington Huskies participated in a round robin with Ten Sleep on Saturday.

“We divided our team into two teams of 10 and Ten Sleep had a team of seven,” said Coach Trent Aagard. “They are taking steps to bring their program along and it takes some time. Hopefully it was a good experience for them.”

For the record, it was officially a forfeit for Ten Sleep and a win for the Huskies.

Coach Aagard felt that it was a good opportunity for his team. “We got to mix some old and younger players together. It was good for both groups to play like that. We were also able to put some guys in positions that we wanted to take a closer look at and we saw some good things.

“Our Burlington white versus black portion was pretty spirited. Overall, it was a good opportunity to improve as a team. As long as we are working at getting better each week, we are moving in the right direction.”

Burlington will travel to Hulett on Saturday with the middle school game kicking off at 1:30 p.m. and the varsity at 3 p.m.
