Huskies Trap shooting well

Week 3 of Trap Shooting is over and things went well for the Huskies. “The wind was an issue with our younger athletes,” said Coach Nate Kreider. “But scores were good. Casey Nelson topped his personal best score again this week and is our top shooter.”

Nelson shot 46/50, 2nd place Kole Walker 45/50, 3rd Parker Cook 42/50, 4th Chute Cauffman and Chase Allen 39/50. In the conference, Kole Walker is in 10th place with a 21.83 average. Allen tied for 13th with 21.50. Cook tied in 15th with 21.17. Nelson’s shooting broke him into the Top 25 in 20 places with a 20.50 average and Spence Winterholler rounds out the 25, tied in 24th place with a 19.17 average. Ava Wennberg is in 10th place on the female side with a 15.50 average. 

Burlington stayed in 4th place with an overall score of 535, Powell in 5th at 468, Dubois in 6th with 457.5 and Goshen County in 1st with 758, Kemmerer in 2nd with 660 and Wheatland High in 3rd with 649.50.
