Husky thinclads place high at Best of the Best

The Burlington Huskies middle school track and field squad concluded their season at the Best of the Best Meet May 10 in Lander.

Sarah McNiven placed third in the seventh-grade girls high jump, clearing 4-8, and 14^th in the triple jump, leaping 26-11.

Greg McNiven placed fourth in the seventh-grade boys pole vault, clearing 7-6, and Kole Walker placed fifth in the seventh-grade boys pole vault, also clearing 7-6.

Naomi McNiven placed ninth in the triple jump, clearing 28-4, and 12^th in the 200-meter hurdles, in a time of 34.85 seconds.

Hailee Winterholler placed 12^th in the eighth-grade girls shot put, throwing 26-1, and 26^th in the discus, throwing 60-1.

Adelle Olson placed 16^th in the eighth-grade girls 100-meter hurdles, coming in at 20.76 seconds, and Dalley Bassett placed 20^th in the eighth-grade girls shot put, throwing 24-6½.
