Husky trap finishes opening week in fifth place

After Week 1 of shooting, Burlington’s trap team is fifth place in its conference, which includes Thunder Basin, Wheatland, Goshen County, Kemmerer and Sundance high schools. 

Burlington’s top shooters were Brikton Wardell who went 45/50, Kole Walker who shot 43/50, Chase Allen 39/50 and Parker Cook and Trigdon Aagard both with 38/50. Wardell tied for sixth place in the conference overall with his average score of 22.50 and Walker tied for 12th with his average score of 21.50. Ava Wennberg placed 15th on the girls’ side with an average score of 9. 

The Huskies will shoot Week 2 of competition this week.
