John “Jack” Neves Loveland

April 28, 1944 - April 24, 2025

John “Jack” Neves Loveland, 80, of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025. He was born on April 28, 1944 in Greybull, Wyo.

Jack spent his life in service to God and to others — as a devoted son, brother, husband and father. He was a hard worker with a generous heart, always ready to lend a hand or fix whatever needed fixing, using the gifts God gave him with quiet strength and humility.

He is survived by his eternal companion and wife or 58 years, Linda; his brothers, Bill (Ruth), Robert (Selena) and Ken (Wendy); his sisters, Nancy and Lisa; and his children, Carolyn (Rob), John (Kristyn), Richard (Mitch), Cynthia, Crystine (Wes), Jennifer (David), Ben (Charlotte), Linda (David) and Tom (Jennifer). He also leaves behind a legacy of love in his 48 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Bill; his parents, Jack and Carla; his brothers, Tom and James, and sister, Linda.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3 at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Cottages Ward, 770 15th, Ogden, Utah, with a viewing prior from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
