Keep your sparkle today

Let not one person take away your sparkle today. Shine bright and have a great day. (Thanks for the reminder Gretty).

Thank you Security State Bank, J & E, Inc, WYO Sprinkler & Landscaping, and RE/MAX Elevation (Nicole & Curtis Lindgren) for your chamber membership renewals.

We greatly appreciate Tom Newman State Farm and Basin City Arts Center for sponsoring Entertainment in the Park Thursday nights June 19 - July 24 at 7 p.m. We are still working on doing something extra fun for the July 3 date. Maybe hot dogs, snow cones, games and of course music. Please let us know if you have any ideas.

Lilac Days is June 6 - 7. Soon you will see boxes for your votes for Lilac Queen. This needs to be a woman in the Basin area that has made a difference in our communities. Currently, only women sixty-plus are eligible. This may change if the queen committee will let me. The townwide yard sale is June 21.

Thank you, Susan Wynn, for a wonderful chamber lunch last week. Who knew BBQ spaghetti with pulled pork was a thing?  It was so good as were the Texas Twinkies, baked beans and chocolate cobbler.
