Kind Fest set for April 5 in Basin

The Children’s Resource Center in Basin is hosting a free Kind Fest event on Saturday, April 5.

The event is free and open to all. It runs from 9 a.m.–noon at the Basin Rec Center (old high school gym). The goal is to bring together the community and local businesses and organizations to promote kindness: Kindness to ourselves, our minds, bodies, friends, animals, our community, land and our health.

The event will include an obstacle course, games, photo booth, petting zoo, Smokey the Bear, books, face painting and giveaways.
