The Riverside Lady Rebels played against Burlington on Saturday in Burlington.  At halftime, the Rebels trailed 26-14, and Coach Hamilton stressed how crucial that the first four minutes of the third quarter would be. Nevertheless, Burlington outpaced the Rebels 24-11 in that period, which enabled them to secure the victory.

“While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, this matchup offered valuable lessons and helped us sharpen our focus as we far up for the upcoming regional competition,” Hamilton said. “Our opening game is set for Farson-Eden in Lander, kicking off the 1A West Regional tournament.  Our main objective this week is to earn two wins before experiencing two losses, which would guarantee us a place in next week’s state tournament in Casper.

The Lady Riverside Rebels will be traveling to Lander later this week, and as stated earlier, their first game will be against Farson-Eden, at 3:30 Thursday.
