Leah grew up in Thermopolis, then later as an adult moved to Frannie, where she and her mother had purchased land. She attended schools in Thermopolis, along with working at many businesses. She loved animals, especially dogs and horses, which she owned several of throughout her life. She was fiercely loyal to family and friends. Leah was a very private person, and if she allowed you into her world you were very special.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her lifelong companion Fred Walker and their son, Joe, of Powell, brothers Brad (Lona) of Shingle Springs, Calif., and Elvin (June) of Casper and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
