Letter to the Editor: Where is your courage?
An open letter to Sens. Barrasso and Lummis and Rep. Hageman:
Just what line does President Trump have to cross before you say, “enough is enough”? And what do we make of your silence on the hateful and retaliatory rhetoric and actions that come out of Washington (and please, enough of the finger-pointing)?
Do you not agree that an effective leader is one who models exemplary behaviors and who demonstrates a caring for ALL Americans? And does so within the intentions of the U.S. Constitution.
We challenge the three of you to have the courage to stand up for decency even if doing so puts you at odds with party politics. We would think that, when your political careers are over, you would want to like what you see when you look into a mirror.
If not, then please step aside so that we can support someone who better represents the interests of all Americans.
