Marge Clark Marchant died on Jan. 9, 2016, at her home in Eagle, Idaho, surrounded by her loving family.[caption id="attachment_10852" align="alignright" width="213"]

Clark Marchant[/caption]She was born in Teton City, Idaho, on Aug. 12, 1928, to Mark Leslie Clark and Reva Thompson Clark.She grew up on a farm in Teton City and after graduating from high school she attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. After college she taught dance and was a switchboard operator for Mountain Bell Telephone Company in Saint Anthony, Idaho.She met and married Gilbert (Gib) Marchant, the love of her life, on Nov. 7, 1953, in Teton City and he survives her. Marge is also survived by two sons, Mike (Marla) Marchant of Meridian, Idaho and Bob (Teressa) Marchant of Laramie; two daughters, Kae (Gary) Mann of Grays Lake, Idaho, and Melanie Neal of Eagle, Idaho; one sister, Janet Hansen of Torrey, Utah; grandchildren Tiffany, Candy, Justin, Jared and Jeremy and five great-grandchildren.Gib retired from Peter Kiewit and Son in 1992 and they then moved to Eagle to be close to family . They had a winter home in Mesquite, Nev., where they enjoyed golfing. Marge enjoyed the game and strived to be the best. They also purchased a home in Garden Valley on Terrace Lakes Golf Course to get out of the summer heat of Eagle. She had many friends and she enjoyed spending time with all of them.Funeral services were held on Jan. 14, 2016, in Eagle, Idaho. Burial followed in Dry Creek Cemetery.
