“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language. And next year’s words await another voice.” — T.S. Eliot

The days of our lovely Christmas lights are winding down. But have no fear, the shopping and planning has already started for next year. On the chamber membership renewal form, there is a line for donations to the Christmas light fund. Forms are available in the foyer of the chamber and/or by email.

If you would like to help with Little Shoppers 2026, please be on the lookout for deals on tissue paper, small-medium bags, dad/mom gifts, small toys for kids. No need for boxes, bows or name tags. If there is anyone who would like to take over doing the event, please raise your hand! I’m still packing up the totes at the fairgrounds, putting tables and chairs away, etc. Thankful that the county maintenance guys are flexible and let this old lady take her time.

As mentioned previously, please consider renewing your membership in January. Prorating the fee is fine, especially those of you that joined/renewed in the last six months.  It really helps us volunteers keep track.

There is a chamber member meeting Jan. 8 at noon. Lunch will feature Thai food made by Benjaporn Helburn. We heard that it is yummy.
