Motherhood group offers support, encouragement

Motherhood group gatherings will resume Sept. 23. The group, which has been around for about 10 years, meets at the Basin First Baptist Church, but is open to all mothers/children regardless of church affiliation, said organizer Kristen Brown. 

“Motherhood is meant to be a place for moms and kids of any age to build friendships, find support and encouragement as we walk through the joys and struggles of raising our children,” Brown said.

Mothers enjoy coffee and gather while kids play in their classrooms. 

The group meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 9 – 11 a.m. Kids may be dropped off at 8:45 a.m.
