Museum board rebrands as Wild West Dino Den, announces July 25 fundraiser

The Big Horn Basin Dinosaur and Geoscience Museum, a non-profit working to build a dinosaur museum in Greybull, has announced a name change to Wild West Dino Den. The museum board chose the new name because it is easier to remember and better captures the excitement and vibe envisioned for the new dinosaur museum. 

The mission remains the same: to establish a quality science-based dinosaur museum in Greybull. The Wild West Dino Den has engaged a graphic artist in Oregon to develop a poster to help publicize the name change. 

Coinciding with this name change, a major fundraising event will be held Friday, July 25 at the Shell Bar.  Live music will be provided from 6 to 9 p.m. by Jane Bell and Doc Tari.  Al Webster, prehistoric game warden, will be on hand to issue dinosaur hunting licenses (both resident and non-resident). A short promotional film is being created about the Wild West Dino Den’s efforts to build a dinosaur museum in Greybull. This film is being produced and written by Jesse Green, a four-time Emmy Award winning director (Longfellow films) and will be shown at future fundraising events this fall.
