Final geoscience summer lecture Oct. 14
The Big Horn Basin Dinosaur and Geoscience Museum will host the final talk of its 2023 summer lecture series in the Greybull Public Library meeting room on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m.
Dr. Emanuel Tschopp of the Universität Hamburg in Germany will present his lecture “Digital Dinosaurs: How microscopic details from dinosaurs from the Bighorn Basin inform us about their life 150 million years ago.”
Dr. Tschopp is an expert on the Howe Dinosaur Quarry and has been collecting and studying dinosaurs from the Big Horn Basin for many years.

Otto Park to host Fall Extravaganza
Friends of the Otto Park are hosting a Fall Extravaganza on Saturday, Oct. 14.
The fundraiser  runs from 4-6 p.m.
The family fun includes hayrides, chili/cornbread, carnival games and pumpkins for sale.

Annual church dinner in Hyattville
The Hyattville United Methodist Church will host its annual church dinner on Oct. 8, 12:30 -2 p.m.
The location is the Hyattville Community Center. The cost is $12 for adults and $8 for youth ages 6 to 12.

CRC to host Kind Fest Oct. 14
The Children’s Resource Center in Basin is hosting a Kind Fest Saturday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Basin Recreation (old agym) building.
Activities include an obstacle course, games, photo booth, small petting zoo, face painting and giveaways.
Three Rivers Health, Big Horn Co-op, Club Dauntless and the U.S. Forest Service are co-sponsoring the event.
