Whooee — what a great Lilac Days! Thanks to all that came, sponsored, volunteered or supported our community. Our sponsors and their membership to the chamber are what helps make these community events happen. Seriously, if you get a chance, thank the sponsors for their investment in this annual event. They include Big Horn REA, Security State Bank, TCT, Big Horn Co-op, Queen Bee Gardens, Basin Police Department, Cody Regional Health, Basin City Arts Center, Gottsche, Basin First Baptist, Valley Hardware, The Town of Basin, Basin Rec, North Platte Walleye Unlimited and Friends of the Basin Library.
Next up is the June chamber member meeting on June 13 at noon. June 15 is the town-wide yard sale. Forms to sign up for the yard sale can be found in the chamber foyer at 407 West C Street, Basin. To be on the map, the cost is $5. Please turn in your forms as soon as possible. And if anyone is handy on using Google Maps, please help!! Our Vice President, who normally builds our map, will be out of town.
Entertainment in the Park starts June 20 with Bret Savage. The event starts at 7 p.m. at Washington Park. Look for a schedule in the Basin and Greybull papers. The event is brought to you by Tom Newman State Farm. Thank you, Basin City Arts Center, for helping with it.
