A bunch of Basin fellows went over to Burlington Tuesday night to meet the town basketball team of that place. In the crowd were Milton Smith, Wayne Hanlon, Vogliotti, Jimmie Keachie, Milton Zaring, Billy Burroughs, Chuck Reidl and Paul Wilson. They were beaten by a score of 37-7. There were airplanes, front-end loaders, road graders, rocking chairs, rocking horses, hobby horses, doll cribs and puzzles. All made of wood. All gleaming and polished. All waiting to be placed carefully under the Christmas tree to brighten up the holiday for some lucky young boys and girls. The carefully crafted toys were made by Burlington High School students in the wood-working class under the instruction of Rick Wheeler.
