Paxton, Wildman represent Rebels on all-conference team
The Riverside Rebels put two players on the Class 1A all-Northwest Conference team that was announced at the conclusion of last weekend’s state tournament.
Seniors Hayden Paxton and Josh Wildman made the team while Ryder Kozisek earned honorable mention for the Rebels, who finished 4-4 and third in conference play and 6-18 overall.
Paxton ranked eighth in the conference in scoring, averaging 14.6 ppg, and third in rebounding, averaging 9.5 rpg. Wildman, meanwhile, led the team in assists with 43 and steals with 37 while averaging 10.6 ppg and 4.1 rpg.
Joining Paxton and Wildman on the all-conference team were Casey McNiven, Toby McNulty and Jordan Michaels of Burlington; Nate Hinkle of Dubois; Jason Moody, Johnathan Ogden, Joe Pina, Max Potas and Ethan Salzman of Meeteetse, and Canyon Egger of Ten Sleep.
Salzman was named the conference player of the year.
No Riverside players were named to this year’s all-state team.
