Planning for annual Lilac Days has started

Exciting news about Lilac Days (June 5 and 6). Friday night will be at the Basin Heritage Commons. Music, food (for purchase), ribbon cutting for the Basin Mural and the burying of a time capsule! Saturday will be in Washington Park with music, vendors, a salute to the semi-quintessential, free breakfast, baby contest, etc. Stay tuned.

• Basin City Arts Center: Saturday, March 28 Once Upon a Time Story Teller Shelly King Basin City Arts Center 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Stories Aren’t Just for Kids. The Many Faces of Story: Folk Tales - Personal Stories - Original Stories - Tall Tales. Donations Appreciated. All Proceeds from this Event will go to the Basin City Arts Center. Follow us on FB. • Big Horn County School District Four: Book Fair… it will be un-frog-gettable. March 16-19. Family open house, Thursday 4 p.m. -8 p.m.
• South Big Horn Senior Center: Job opening. Please apply in person at 417 S 2nd St. in Greybull Monday - Thursday 8:30-a.m to 3:30 p.m. Friday 8:30 to 2:30 p.m. This is a part-time position. Hours are normally 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.but are subject to change depending on client schedules/demand.
• Town of Burlington: The Town of Burlington is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Council Member Jenny Booth. We are immensely grateful for her dedication, hard work, and the positive impact she had on our community. She will be greatly missed. To ensure the continued governance of our town, the Town Council is currently seeking to fill the vacant council seat and is accepting Letters of Interest from residents. How to Apply: If you are interested in serving our community as a Town Council Member, please submit a Letter of Interest outlining your background, qualifications, and reasons for wanting to serve.
