Police Report

The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):

February 12 — Officer requested to come to back door of home on South 8th Street regarding a larceny incident.

A business check was done at the Overland Express Mart.

Extra patrol was done at the school.

February 13 — Patrol was done at Basin School Zone.

Officer responded to a report of missing medication on North 6th Street.

Business check was done at Valley Hardware.

Extra patrol was done at the school.

February 14 — Extra patrol was done at Basin School Zone.

Officer requested to assist in a civil standby at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Department (BHCSD).

Officer responded to an accident at the Wyoming Retirement Center (WRC) for property damage.

A caller reported a speeding car on S. 6th Street, respondent shouted for the speeding car to slow down, car turned to go down the alley.

February 15 — A VIN inspection was done at the BHCSD. 

February 16 — Officer a resident on S. 8th Street with some items he needed to turn in.

Assist general public on C Street.

Extra patrol was done at WRC.

Officer assisted in a case follow up at W. B Street.

Business check was done at Overland Express Mart.

Extra patrol was done at school.

Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.

February 17 — Water Leak on W. B Street.

A water shut off was reported to the Basin Police Department.

Public assist done at S. 6th Street.

February 18 —Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.

Business check was done at Family Dollar.

Business check was done at Basin Market.

Citizen complaint was reported to the Basin Police Department.

Extra patrol was done at school.

Extra patrol was done at WRC.

Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.
