Raffle tickets remain in Goton fundraiser

The drawing for the winner of Benjaporn Helburn’s original oil painting “Eight Second Ride” will be Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. at Big Horn Federal in Greybull.

Helburn donated the painting to raise money to help offset the expenses and medical costs for Hazel Goton who was born with without a functioning portal vein that is necessary to carry blood to her liver.

She painted the picture from a photo she took at one of Wilford Brimley’s rodeos showing one of the Wright twins on a saddle bronc.

A few raffle tickets are still available from Benjaporn Helburn (307) 763-3939 and at Big Horn Federal, 33. N. Sixth St., Greybull. One-hundred percent of the raffle ticket sales go to offset Hazel’s expenses. 

Hazel is the daughter of Hayden and Davonne Goton and granddaughter of Lisa Young and Mike Goton, all from Shell.
