Thermopolis added two more runs in the third inning before Hatch caught a pop fly and struck out the next two batters. Rice scored on a steal of home and Tyrel Nicholson advanced home to score.
In the fourth inning, Thermopolis picked up three more runs and Otto went scoreless.  The game ended in an 11-3 defeat for Otto.
Matt Tempany was on the mound for the Rattlers Thursday against Riverton. Riverton posted a strong start with three runs in the first inning. Otto responded with Tempany getting to first on a fly ball to the third baseman, which allowed Hatch to run in. On the next hit, Rice scored.
The second inning was rough for the Rattlers as Riverton ran in six more runs and it was three up, three down for Otto at bat. Worthen took over the mound in the third inning and Riverton ran in two more runs. Rice singled on a hard grounder that allowed Hatch to score and hits from Tempany and Worthen allowed Rice to score on another steal of home.
Worthen held Riverton scoreless in the fourth inning with two strikeouts and a ground out at the mound but Otto couldn’t come back from the deficit, losing 11-4.
