Rebel Track team compete at Bill Gerrard Memorial

This week the Rebel track team competed at the Bill Gerrard Memorial Track Meet in

Greybull. They turned in another strong performance against tough competition.

Senior Cade Bell led the way with an impressive meet after battling through an injury  took first in shot put (47-6) and added a 3rd place finish in the discus (123-9). Paul Stone also had another solid performance, placing 4th in the triple jump (38-3.75).

Senior Varissa Olsen took a 4th place finish in the discus (105-8) and an 8th place finish in shot put (29-8.75). The girls 4x100 relay team, consisting of Danika Brauer, Annabelle

Brown, Brinley Longshore, and Mariannah Pratt placed 3rd (56.17) and prequalified for the state meet.

Overall, the team had a strong showing, with many athletes continuing to improve and build momentum as the season progresses. Coaches are proud of the effort and progress the athletes are making. They are excited to see continued growth moving forward as they make adjustments to accomplish their goals.

The team will be back in action on Saturday, April 25th at Rocky Mountain High School in Cowley.
