Rebels compete in Burlington

The Riverside Rebels have started their track season off and have had two meets so far.  They competed at the Wind River Ice Breaker March 22 as well as the Burlington meet March 28.

The Riverside Rebels current automatic qualifiers include Vinaya VanderPloeg (100 and 200 meters), Kennedy Bassett (100, 200 and 100 hurdles)), Wyatt Daly-Patterson (high jump) and Ryder Kozisek (high jump).

The Rebels also have some who have not AQ’d, but have placed at their meets so far.  They are as follows: 

WIND RIVER ICE BREAKER

Jaxon Womack, eighth in 800 meters; Kenneth McClure, third in high jump; Wyatt Daly-Patterson, fifth in long jump; Vinaya VanderPloeg, first in 100, third in 200; Kennedy Bassett, first in 300 hurdles, second in 100 hurdles, and Varissa Olsen, third in discus, sixth in shotput.

BURLINGTON INVITE:

Paul Stone, third in triple jump with a distance of 38-8 1/4 Varissa Olsen, sixth in discus with a throw of 93-5 and also in shot put with a throw of 29-1.
